There are a lot of great things about living in the city, but air quality is not one of them. In fact, the reports of smog levels in cities these days are scary and can impact our daily activates. Paris, for example, just ran public transit for free during a three-day period of extreme pollution. And forget about that morning jog!

You probably know that spending time in green or forested areas is positive for health, but what happens when you can’t make the time to get our of the city or head to the park? In this TEDtalk, Kamal Meattle describes what plants can do for indoor air quality, which ones to buy, and how many. Even if you don’t have the capacity to build your own indoor forest, one thing is clear: even the addition of one plant to your home or office can be nothing but positive for your health and well-being.
